Æbleflæsk (Apples and bacon)

Per person:
One cooking apple sliced
        (e.g. Belle de Boskoop or like; Red Aroma and Holsteiner Cox can also be used).
2-3 slices of organic smoked bacon
1 onion cut in tiny pieces (leave out if you prefer apples and bacon with no onions).

Cook the bacon on a pan at medium temperature until mostly dry.
Add the apples and also onions and cook for further 10 min.

Serve from the pan.

Apples and onions

Per person:
One cooking apple sliced
        (e.g. Belle de Boskoop or like; Red Aroma and Holsteiner Cox can also be used).
A little olive oil
1 onion cut in tiny pieces.

Cook the onions on a pan at medium temperature for 5 min.
Add the apples and cook for further 10 min.

Serve from the pan.
